...IS THE DEFINITION OF PERFECTION. Born on July 20, ERIC is the group's third, third guy. And he more than adequately fills the shoes of the personnel before him. His energetic nature is a plus and provides just the right amount of excitement. Even when Eddie and Walter are out front, ERIC holds down both the harmony and that killer choreography for which the group is known. Amazingly, he can do both while maintaining that charming smile. After a string of consecutive uptempo songs, ERIC, is barely sweating and charming the ladies from center stage. But just because he is usually in the background, don't be fooled. ERIC can definitely sing. [Now that they let him do so.] When he finally gets his solo spot, he lets the audience know why he was chosen to ride the train with the O'Jays. By the finale, ERIC is still stepping in syncopation, still harmonizing in key, and still smiling as if he is so happy to be among his idols. |
